Even Sehested is a digital consultant in the education sector in Bamble Municipality and has over ten years’ experience with digitalisation and development in both the public and private sectors. He works at the intersection of technology, leadership support and service development, with particular emphasis on how artificial intelligence can be applied in a practical, safe and beneficial manner. He is a dedicated member of the municipality’s artificial intelligence project group.

In Bamble, he, together with the AI project group, has contributed to the development and adoption of several AI solutions for schools and the municipality. The work has included pedagogical and administrative tools, competence enhancement, the introduction of Copilot, and the development of solutions that deliver clear benefits in the form of saved time, improved quality and increased digital competence across the organization.

He is especially focused on how AI can create genuine value in everyday life—not merely as technology, but as a means of supporting better work processes, more targeted services and wiser decisions.

At AI+, Even, together with his colleague Robert Lien Pettersen, will give a brief presentation of the municipality’s own AI agents and share experiences from Bamble Municipality’s AI project. The focus will especially be on the development of the translation tool Verbia, which Bamble Municipality has developed together with Globeteam.
