Danka Ördög

Junior Social Innovation Researcher, Smart Innovation Norway

Danka works as a Junior Social Innovation Researcher at Smart Innovation Norway. With a background in social sciences and a Master’s degree in Social Entrepreneurship and Management from Roskilde University, she is dedicated to approaching global challenges with a human-centric mindset to achieve sustainable solutions and innovation.

Driven by an interest in understanding how people think, behave, and adapt within systems of change, she believes in problem-first approaches to solutions that drive ethical green transition and resilience in our society in the face of uncertainties. Danka is passionate about making sustainable change accessible in everyday life and is always eager to discuss the various pillars of sustainability, both in English, Hungarian, or in a rusty Danish.

Her current work primarily spans EU-funded projects such as FORTESIE, CHRONICLE, PROBONO, and STITCH where she contributes to social research activities, stakeholder engagement, and co-creation processes that put human needs and perspectives first.
