AI+ is part of something bigger!

In 2024, AI+ will expand by collaborating with the Halden International Music Film Festival, the Fredriksten Opera Festival, and the network Kunnskap i sentrum. This means that AI+ participants can attend a broader range of activities before, during, and after the conference, as we are part of a whole week of cultural and technological experiences.

The goal is to combine film, music, education, and technology to offer many great experiences, meet new and old acquaintances, and gain both professional and cultural enrichment.

The combination of these fields of interest may seem randomly assembled. Still, it has proven to be an essential catalyst for economic development in several contexts, which, along with the creative processes, leads to regional growth.

Something for everyone

It won’t be challenging to find something you like in downtown Halden between 12-20 April, 2024:

The opening concert of the Fredriksten Opera Festival with Reza e i Ragazzi in Byparken on April 12th will mark the beginning of the action-packed week, followed by, among other things, the opera classic La Bohème by Puccini at Fredrikshalds Teater and Opera Fest together with The Norwegian Wind Ensemble, also in Byparken.

AI+ represents the strong technology community in Halden and shines a spotlight on applied artificial intelligence. The event takes place on 17-18 April 2024, bringing together professionals, businesses, politicians, researchers, leaders, and others interested in applied AI for two days of knowledge, inspiration, engagement, demonstrations, lectures, panel discussions, and socializing.

“Make Halden Smile”, organized by HIMF, will conclude the week. The event will include film, music, food, games, cultural activities, and a special guest appearance by the English DJ and filmmaker Don Letts. Participation in most of the “Make Halden Smile” activities will be free or very affordable.

The collaboration has already generated enthusiasm beyond the city’s borders, and the organizers are looking forward to kicking things off on 12 April.
