Senior Advisor for Privacy at the Department of Development and Business Management, NTNU

Heine Skipenes is a Senior Advisor for Privacy at NTNU and has held the position of group leader for architecture and consultancy at NTNU’s IT department in recent years. He has extensive administrative experience from departments and faculties, and he describes himself as a versatile and dedicated bureaucrat who is concerned with privacy, user experience, and service level in digital services. 

Skipenes leads the “Piloting Copilot for Microsoft 365” project, part of the Norwegian Data Protection Authority’s regulatory sandbox for privacy-friendly innovation and digitization in spring 2024. This initiative aims to assess the suitability of Microsoft’s artificial intelligence assistant, “Copilot for Microsoft 365,” for integration into large public sector organizations.
