About Nils-Ola Widme

Abelia’s ambition is to develop innovation-policy for sustainability and a more knowledge-based economy.

Nils-Ola is heading Abelia’s policy-team, focusing on how technology, research and innovation can create economic growth and drive the green transition.

Before joining Abelia, he spent 20 years in legal practice and policy-development, both in the private sector and the Ministry for Industry and Trade. He has a law degree from the University of Oslo, specialising in European Law, and has an Executive MBA in strategy from NHH Norwegian School of Economics.
